One of my friends here, a smart guy whom I respect, told me that he won't be voting for Barack Obama because "he scares me." Why? I asked. "For a lot of reasons, but, you know, he won't even pledge allegiance to the American Flag."
Well, if you think that too, please educate yourself. This is the photo upon which the misinformed have been hanging their hats. It's been going on since the primaries. Note the caption says "during the National Anthem."
You can like Obama, or not. You won't offend me if you vote for John McCain. You don't need to make some excuse. I'll never begrudge you your personal opinions, thoughts, or choices. This is America. Just, for crying out loud, don't boil your choice down to some stupid, misinformed or intentionally misleading information that's been spreading across the internet like a disease.
Use your brain. Educate yourself. Then vote.
