Bedbumps (bed speedbumps)

Man, our bed has gotten a lot smaller since we first bought it. That's probably good, since when it's just Kurt and me in the bed, we seem to mysteriously to end up with more of these things.

He dun did gradjidated

Nate graduated from Pre-School. Up next year: another year of pre-school. A diploma will issue. After that, Kindergarten, when yet another diploma will issue. I'm thinking we're setting this kid up for a pretty substantial let-down for the next 12 years after that.

Baseball Bean

Bean's Baseball season is going well. Typically, he plays second base. He does very well when he's properly warmed up, fed and not tired. We're proud of him!

Spencer at One Month

February 25, 2009

Natie Hayes turned four! He had a party at home ...
A party at Mema's house ...

And passed out, exhausted, clutching his Lego Power Miners rock monster.

Le Grande Champion!

Aron won the Cub Scout Pinewood Derby for his den. He and daddy worked pretty hard on it.
Check out those details!

Check out the attitude!

Not really feeling it.

Nate was skeptical at first. In fact, when Nate visited us in the hospital, he was more interested in eating my lunch than in seeing his new baby brother. Even after we got Spencer home, Nate wasn't sure that he wanted to hold his baby brother, as captured here on February 7. Note the "how much longer do I have to hold him?" stare.

Christmas 2008

Nothing like timely reporting.

See, been busy

Someone you know has been hard at work, proof of which was featured recently in a local small-town newspaper. Check it out here, and here.

But the truly enjoyable bit is that there's even more coverage of the same story, replete with snarky (yet pedestrian) blogger critique! Check it out here.

Unbunch yer knickers!

Yes, STILL here. This mommy-of-three and full-time-job thing is insane. Add a healthy dose of no sleep and no time to myself, and you get no blogging. More soon.
